The main site of the conference is the building officially called Neuphilologikum, but better known by its second name – Brechtbau. Named after the German playwright Bertold Brecht, the building is home to the Department of Rhetoric, Institute of Media Studies and numerous departments for modern languages. It also accommodates such facilities as the university radio station, a theatre, and an extensive library, just to name a few.

This gem of seventies architecture will set the pulse racing for anyone with a soft spot for bear concrete and intricate hallway planning. Located at the main street of the downtown campus, Brechtbau is at a walking distance from other key buildings of the university and old town.

Address: Brechtbau (Neuphilologie), Wilhelmstraße 50, D–72074 Tübingen
